ReadySiteNow

Privacy policy

How we handle your information.

This policy explains what ReadySiteNow collects when you send a brief, receive a quotation, pay, or hear from us by email or text.

Who is responsible

ReadySiteNow is a trading name of CodeMyNode (sole proprietorship), Pakistan. CodeMyNode is the controller of the personal information described here. Our address is Office No. 103, First Floor, Malik Square, E Block, Sector B-17, Islamabad, Pakistan. Privacy requests go to sam@readysitenow.com, or WhatsApp +92 306 2607749.

Information from your brief

When you enquire or submit a website brief, we collect what you give us, which may include:

  • Your name, business name, email address, and phone number.
  • The services you want featured, wording for the site, domain preferences, and project notes.
  • Logos, photos, and other files you upload.
  • A record that you accepted these policies, where the form asks for that.

We use this information to prepare your quotation, build the website if you approve it, contact you about the project, and keep a record of the order. The usual lawful bases are steps taken at your request before a contract, performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in running the service properly.

Email and text messages

We email you about quotations, payment, and the website itself, using the address you provide. We may also send SMS or WhatsApp messages about a concept, a quotation, or your order.

Those text messages are sent through Twilio, our messaging provider. Twilio processes the phone number, the message content, and delivery status so the message can be sent and we can see whether it arrived. Twilio’s own privacy notice describes how it handles that information as a communications provider.

Marketing messages identify ReadySiteNow and include a way to opt out. Reply STOP to a marketing text, or email us, and we will not send further marketing to that number. We keep a record of the opt-out so it is honoured. Service messages about an order you have asked for are separate from marketing.

Payments

We do not receive or store your full card number. When you pay, our payment processor collects the billing and payment details needed to take the payment, calculate any applicable tax, prevent fraud, and issue a receipt. We receive your contact details, the order reference, the amount, and whether the payment or subscription succeeded, failed, or was refunded, so we can deliver and support the website.

The payment processor is responsible for the card data it collects at checkout. The name of the processor is shown on the checkout page before you pay.

Other information

If we already hold a business profile from a public directory, we may use the business name, public phone number, address, category, and published photos to prepare a relevant concept. You can ask us not to contact you.

Our hosting and security tools may record technical data such as IP address, browser, and device details when you use the site or the owner dashboard. We use that to keep the service secure and to understand basic faults.

Who we share information with

We share information with providers who host the site and our database, send email, send SMS and WhatsApp through Twilio, process payments, and help us secure the service. They may only use it on our instructions or for their own limited legal duties, such as fraud checks by the payment processor.

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it if the law requires it, or to protect customers, the service, or our rights.

International transfers

CodeMyNode handles enquiries from the United Kingdom and works with providers that can process information in other countries, including the United States and Pakistan. Where UK data-protection law requires a safeguard for a transfer, we use one, such as a contract approved for that purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep brief and order information for as long as we need it to deliver the site, deal with a query, and meet tax and accounting duties. Quotation records that do not become an order are kept for a shorter period. Opt-out records are kept so we do not contact you again. We then delete or anonymise the information.

Security

We limit access to customer information and use appropriate technical measures. No online service can guarantee that information will never be lost or accessed improperly.

Your rights

If UK data-protection law applies, you can ask for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with our response.

Email sam@readysitenow.com to use these rights. We may need to confirm it is you before we act.

Cookies

We use cookies that are needed to run the site, including owner sign-in and security. We do not use optional advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for any consent the law requires.
